Driveway Retaining Wall & Drainage Solution – Currumbin Valley

Our client engaged Marek & Co to resolve ongoing erosion and stormwater issues along their steep driveway in Currumbin Valley. With the property positioned on a challenging slope, effective structural support and drainage were essential to prevent debris and runoff from washing down the hill and onto the driveway.

To stabilize the site, we constructed a reinforced 200 series core-filled block retaining wall, beginning with carefully excavated and engineered footings to ensure long-term structural integrity. Extensive drainage systems were installed behind the wall to properly manage stormwater and control future erosion.

Beyond functionality, this project also delivered a lifestyle upgrade. The retaining wall seamlessly transitions into a beautifully designed semi-circular fire pit area beside the pool house — creating a warm, inviting space for entertaining while maintaining practical site stability.
